We started moving boxes to our new house this weekend. Thankfully, most of our stuff is still packed. Our friend should be moving out on April 9, so we will schedule the movers sometime after that to move our furniture. We're taking as much as we can over now in Keith's truck. We are excited about finally getting settled- sometime around April 10-12.
We also drove a few new routes from Fayetteville to Springdale this weekend and found a good shortcut. Now we just need a shortcut to Rogers and we're all set! Courtney is a little confused about moving again, but I think once we get everything unpacked she'll be better. Once we get the house set up I will start working on the baby's room. I have several ideas and am excited about getting started!
The baby is growing and kicking harder. Keith felt him move a few nights ago. The pregnancy is still going well, and Courtney is happy about having a little brother. We had mini-muffins for breakfast yesterday and she said, "When our baby brother comes out he can eat some baby muffins with us!" She loves to tickle my belly and try to hear the baby laugh. She pretends she can hear him and gets so giddy!
Things are going well here. We are enjoying the spring weather (aside from the 12.5" of snow we got last weekend, haha!). We will be pretty busy over the next month or so with moving, Easter and swim lessons for Courtney, but things should settle down in May.
Thank you for keeping up with us on our blog!

It's a BOY!!
We had our sonogram today and it's a boy! Courtney was upset at first because she wanted a sister. As we called family she sat in the backseat singing, "It's a gwirl, it's a gwirl, it's a gwiiiiirl!!" I had the 3D pics out and told Keith, "Now we need a name- what does he look like to you?" "A Gwirl!" Courtney chimed in from the backseat! She is feeling better about it being a boy now, especially since (thanks to Karen's advice) I said, "Now you'll have a little brother just like your cousin Leighton!"
The sonogram went wonderfully. Our little boy is completely healthy and measuring around 10" long. It was surreal to watch the baby move and feel it at the same time. We got about 2 minutes worth of a 4D sonogram just for fun- guess the sonographer was in a good mood today. (See pic below). It's so funny because with Courtney I felt like a pinball machine as she would ping from one side of my belly to the next. With this one it's more like a lava lamp. He seems easy-going, with very few sharp jabs. . . just easy, smooth movements.
We are really excited- now it's time to start planning for the nursery!

No More House - Hunting
No more house-hunting for us! God has provided an amazing opportunity. As we prayed about it we felt God prompting us to move forward and have had such a deep peace. For those who don't know, we recently moved to Northwest Arkansas and have been looking to buy a home... to no avail. ((See my last blog post for an update on how we got here.))
Recently, a good friend got a job out of state. He has offered to rent his house to us for a price we just can't pass up. It's a three bedroom, two bath, with a two car garage (what we were looking for) in Springdale. It's a very central location, which means Keith would be 15 minutes closer to work. We should be moving sometime after Easter.
We are excited to finally have a place- we're still living out of boxes here! Once we're moved in we will probably make a few trips to Goodwill or have a garage sale. One thing we've learned since selling our house last October is just how LITTLE we need. . . and just how MUCH we actually have. Strangely enough, we're actually excited about downsizing. I've heard it said, "Live simply so that others may simply live." I'm not sure who said that, but there is alot of truth to it on so many levels.
I will try to post more updates as things happen... be looking for an extra special update around mid-March when we announce if baby #2 will be a boy or girl!!
